Are you a Nester or Percher?

Perchers are thrill-seekers - outgoing and bold

Nesters are in-ward looking - reflective and sensitive

Nesters need small spaces carved out of larger spaces. Think sitting area, reading chair, dining nook or foyer. A nester does not want to see the entire floorplan from the perspective of the front door. A sense of mystery is required.

Perchers feel comfortable in bright, open and expansive spaces. Think of great rooms, comprised of a family room, kitchen and dining area. A percher wants a fantastic view or at minimum an immediate overview of the floorplan, from the perspective of the front door. A need to control is required.
